About the Role
Reporting into the Centre Manager, the Eyecare Receptionist is responsible for managing appointments and booking enquiries, handling incoming phone calls and providing exceptional customer service to Members and staff.
With the primary location for the role being Sydney CBD, you will be required to travel to our other eyecare centres based on needs. Some of the eyecare centres you may need to travel to would be Bondi, Chatswood and Brookvale.
This role requires you to be able to work every second Saturday from 9am to 3:30pm which means you will be working an 11-day fortnight.
Other key responsibilities will include;
- Providing courteous, prompt and correct responses to all enquiries received
- Raising accounts and receipt payments
- Complying with policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
You value interacting with people and thrive on working in a supportive and member centric culture founded on teamwork, integrity and social responsibility. You will have the following attributes:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing receptionist role
- Demonstrated understanding of computerised appointment booking systems
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with Members
- Good time management and high attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills and teamwork mentality
