About the role

As the Head of Corporate Sales, you will be responsible for developing and managing the corporate sales team. You will develop a strategy that will ensure the attainment of our corporate sales targets and be instrumental in building and maintaining key relationships both externally and internally to ensure both the strategic direction and objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy and business plan for corporate sales 
  • Lead, manage, develop and coach the corporate sales team
  • Manage the sales administration function and operational performance reporting
  • Plan and participate in brand awareness PR activities
  • Ensure that all sales staff activities are in accordance with relevant regulations and comply with industry codes of practice
  • Develop action plans for the effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Present and provide timely feedback to senior management regarding sales KPI’s & performance
  • Make recommendations on product improvements and competitor activities
  • Apply an innovative approach to streamlining processes and systems wherever possible

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in sales or business-related discipline
  • Previous experience in a corporate sales environment
  • Ability to provide analytical insights and financial forecasting skills
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
  • Strong understanding of collaborative sales processes as well as an understanding of customer/member and market dynamics and requirements
  • Excellent coaching skills and ability to develop potential in employees
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines
