About the role:

Join our team as a Benefit & Recognition Analyst and play a pivotal role in our Employee Experience Team. You will lead the lifecycle management of benefits and recognition programs, collaborating closely with our People & Culture teams to ensure our offerings align with company values and enhance employee satisfaction.


As a Benefit & Recognition Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to research, recommend, and implement benefit programs that attract and retain talent. You'll conduct thorough benchmarking and stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes to ensure our programs remain competitive and compliant.

You will engage with employees through surveys and focus groups to understand their preferences and optimize benefit acceptance. Your analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating program effectiveness and providing actionable insights to enhance employee engagement.

In addition to benefits, you'll review and provide insights into our recognition programs, collaborating closely with the Remuneration & Benefits Analyst to ensure alignment with our overall employee reward strategy.

Your role includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards, including WHS legislation. You will actively participate in compliance activities, including training and risk mitigation efforts to uphold our commitment to safety and legal standards.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience within a benefit, recognition and reward environment
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve utilisation
  • Ability to clarify complexities and articulate a compelling vision of change
